Truck crushes cyclist on Spanish town road a short while a go





KINGSTON, Jamaica — A cyclist was crushed to death by a truck on Spanish Town Road in Kingston, a short while ago.
Reports reaching OBSERVER ONLINE are that the incident is being described as a freak accident.
The man was reportedly travelling towards the Portia Simpson Miller Square (Three Miles) area about 12:05 pm when he was struck down.
OBSERVER ONLINE was also told that people had to alert the truck driver to the fact that he had struck the cyclist.
The incident has since caused massive traffic pile-up in the area as a team of police officers is now gathered at the location.
Sources have also told OBSERVER ONLINE that one of the man's family members was turned away from the scene because of the condition of the deceased.
