Chris Brown and Nia Guzman Decide to Raise Daughter Royalty Together

Chris Brown and Nia Guzman have finally decided to put their feud to rest, according to TMZ. Sources close to the couple told the website that they wanted to raise their baby Royalty together.

Multiple sources told the news outlet that Chris and Nia had a sit-down to discuss the best way to raise their daughter peacefully. The two reportedly decided to raise the little girl together. They planned to take Royalty to swim lessons, gymnastics and dance classes together. Furthermore, both of them wanted to be involved in their daughter's education.

The "Turn Up the Music" singer had been involved in a fierce custody battle with Nia for months. He claimed Nia had prevented him from seeing his daughter and asked judge to set clear custody guidelines. The two also fought over Royalty's support. Nia was demanding $15,000 a month on child support but he found it ridiculous and only paid $2,500. They later reached an agreement at $10,000.

Last month, Chris finally won joint custody of Royalty. A Houston judge ruled strongly in Chris' favor during a court hearing that the recording artist and Nia were to share equal time with their child. Furthermore, Chris was ordered to pay $2,500 a month in child support, which was far less than the $15,000 a month that Nia had sought.
