Last week, Drake released his long awaited mixtape,
“What a Time To Be Alive,” in collaboration with rapper Future, but fans weren’t expecting the Toronto-native to name-drop folks that quickly revived old beefs that were reportedly squashed.
As previously reported, on one of the mixtape’s track, Drizzy added fuel to his beef with long-time nemesis Chris Brown by rapping about Brown’s ex- Karrueche Tran on, “Live From the Gutter.”
Though he didn’t say who he is was talking about, it was obvious when Breezy responded to Drizzy’s lyrics via Instagram:
The rapper took shots again at Meek on his “30 for 30 freestyle,” and on another track he clearly targets Mill and Nicki on “Diamonds Dancing,” where he raps:
We’re not sure if Meek should continue to go up against Drake because it might not help his career only to break it. Let us know what you think….
“This is for my n****s on the bulls*** and that nonsense, this is for my dawgs that go Karrueche with the chopsticks,” rapped Drake on the track. If you can remember, the two haven’t gotten along since Drake briefly dated Brown’s ex- Rihanna, and the beef isn’t likely to end anytime soon.
Though he didn’t say who he is was talking about, it was obvious when Breezy responded to Drizzy’s lyrics via Instagram:
“People who have had to sit and watch me for years do me and watch their females actually love me always show their insecurities… I’m content being Chris Brown. A lot of people are unhappy and a lot of these artists lie to the fans or rely on hype to gain substance.”Drizzy has since not responded, and it looks like he’s now putting all of his energy into his new found beef with Meek Mill which have put a strain on his relationship with “Young Money” rapstress Nicki Minaj.
The rapper took shots again at Meek on his “30 for 30 freestyle,” and on another track he clearly targets Mill and Nicki on “Diamonds Dancing,” where he raps:
“How we let it get like this I don’t know, but that n**** can’t save your soul, nah, doing me dirty, you doing me dirty, haven’t even heard from you. How can you live with yourself?”In the meantime, Meek admits via Instagram that he too have an upcoming song and gave fans a preview. He raps: “Money, power, respect, eating breakfast on a jet.”
We’re not sure if Meek should continue to go up against Drake because it might not help his career only to break it. Let us know what you think….
